Call Larry at 770-381-6609 and discuss what your needs are. He likes to custom tailor his shows to every event. He has multiple talents so he can do much more than just put on a trick shot exhibition. He can divide up the time he spends by doing multiple things for you. You may also email to: flenterprises@bellsouth.net
Larry will give you a brand new professional simonies 860 cloth worth $200 for the show if you will install it for free. Any color and you must install both the bed and rails.
(1) He can do a trick shot show which can last any where from 30 minutes to the usual which is an hour, or l l/2 hrs with a break in between the two 45 minutes segments. He can perform for you non stop all day long for 8 straight hours and never repeat the same shot twice.
(2) He can then perform a teaching clinic where he shows every one how to play like the pros having proper basics. He is a master level instructor, one of the best in the country. He is rated as a billiards expert by Billiards Digest, one of only 20 in the world today.
(3) You may want to have competition and a tournament which he will run and conduct. He likes to put on a 9 ball contest which is a race to one. This means it does not drag out for half the day and is over fast, any one can win and it’s a lot of fun. Any one can win and that is the key to it all. These events get rave reviews. The winner of the event then plays Larry.
(4) He likes to finish up by taking challenge matches and playing a game with any of the fans who want to play and try to beat him. He usually gives every one a chance and does not hammer them as other pros do who have this ego they can never lose. FL is a 9 ball touring pro on the world 9 ball UPA main men’s tour and ranks any where between 35 and 50 in the world during 2006. Rankings go up and down of course.
If you book Larry for a half day, you might have him schedule an hour a piece for all four attractions.
How do you pick the right performer for a show?
Ask first can he play, is he any good. Will he make the shots when he shows up or is he a beginner and he will flub them under the pressure of a crowd? So you want somebody who can play and Larry is a former Artistic TASA trick shot world champion. You can open the links and see him perform and many of these extremely difficult shots he will perform in his shows. Larry has one of the highest percentages of making shots in a show in this field. It is not uncommon for him to do a show of 45 to 50 really tough shots and only miss one or two. Every one misses shots unless they shoot nothing but beginner set ups. During the break any shots Larry missed in the show, he shoots them again and makes every time. In a show you usually only give each shot 3 attempts and Larry make most of them on the first snap. If you get hung up on one and get in a bad rhythm you must move on and come back to it later. In his last show in Miami at a major University he made 49 of 50 shots. After the show is over and he signs autographs he then does an encore where he attempts the 10 hardest shots on earth, all DF 11’s. He made 9 out of the 10. You really have to see it, to believe it.
Most of his competitors only have 30 shots so if they do 3 shows in a day; you see the same shots over and over. Larry has 100 different shots he performs in a 3 show performance and does not repeat any of them. He carries over 300 shots on the road in his repertoire so depending on the table conditions he can come up with a show that will work on the worst table, or the best. He will do a show on your dinning room table and has.
Larry usually shoots shots twice as hard as his competitors do and features dozens of shots he invented which the fans have never seen before. You can bring several well know artists in and they end up all doing the same show and the same old worn out 30 shots. Larry’s show is totally unique, fresh and exciting. He will simply blow your socks off.
Ok, Larry can make the shots, that is only half of the story. The shooter also has to be a quality entertainer or he will make all the shots and put every one to sleep. Larry has been doing shows since 1993 and he has 14 years of experience performing under all types of crowds and challenges. Nothing chokes this guy up. He did a show in the dark in a disco under a flashing disco light in Singapore and performed and made all 50 shots in a row. He does shows in parking lots, at State Fairs with cows mooing next to him, in open convention halls, in noisy pool halls and at malls with lots of people walking by. He can adapt to anything you can throw at him. He has played dives where the entire joint was dunk. He has played at malls where there were hundreds of spectators sitting in the grandstands put up just for his show. He plays in the US Open for the 9 ball title in front of a thousand spectators in Virginia Beach. Yes, he has been around the block.
He has humor in his show with clean jokes and he is rated for all audiences. He likes to put out a show you can bring your entire family to and your children. He does a lot of things that will have you laughing. He adds in a few magic tricks. A bird flies out of a cue ball. He gets the kids in the audience up and playing with him every one goes away with a smile and a good feeling. They also go away amazed at some of the impossible shots he pulls off.
Larry has been ranked for 14 years as one of the top 4 entertainers in the USA. It’s always been Mike, Tom, Paul and FL. This is why he has worked pool’s top three shows every year for over a decade, The BCA trade show and the Massive Super Show, both in Vegas and the Hopkins Expo in Philadelphia. Only the cream of the artistic world is paid to perform at these shows. If the entertainer can not put these on his resume, move on. He has not arrived into the big time yet. That is one of the questions you want to ask?
Larry can add Wonder Dog to the show which is always optional and your call. WD is a 20 lb Jack Russell who is very cute and every one loves him. He will run the table, perform actual trick shots like the Railroad and bottle shots and do tricks you will not believe like sing, read, write and talk. It got him in Ripley’s believe it or not and on the premier of their show. WD was on the premier of Pet Star as well and has been rated by them as one of the top 10 dog acts in the country. You can bring WD into your place with no worries or hassle from the health Dept or any one in any convention center because he is a rated service handicap dog and no one can block his access to any place by law.
When you add wonder dog to the show you have a barn burner on your hands. The wife and the kids love his show so it brings the entire family out.
Larry also can come in with his own pool table he carries in a trailer. He can set up the table any where. He can put up the table in your parking lot and put a tent over it so this gives him a capability no other performer has. None of them have a table or a trick shot shooting dog, only Larry does. We hope this give you what you need to know which is this is a serious act which is well seasoned and experienced.
Ok, Larry can shoot and he can entertain so next comes the question, how much does this all cost and can I afford it?
The answer is yes. Shop around all you want to by getting quotes from the top 5 performers in this field and you will find Larry’s rates are half to sometimes 2/3’rd less than these other guys are charging. Why? Because Larry wants to work every day and keep in stroke and others have trapped them selves into these high rates and big star ego mentality and end up sitting around doing nothing half of the month. Larry can charge $2500 for a show and do 4 a month but he would rather charge less and be able to be practicing and playing every day for a rate people can afford to pay. Because he charges less does not mean you get less. You actually get more. They give you 30 shots, he gives you 100. The shots he shoots are 2 to 3 times harder and better. The rates he charges are half to 2/3 rd’s less. That is what is called one hell of a deal.
There are two fees to his show and every one in this business works the same way.
You call Larry and book a date which is soft and tentative. You confirm and own that date by making a T&E travel deposit. You may do that by sending the funds via pay pal or mailing a money order or Cashiers check. If you do it far enough ahead of time a business check will work but no date is firm until your deposit clears his bank and is deposited into his account. This deposit should be received and cleared at least 2 weeks prior to the engagement. The amount is usually one third of the show fee.
If I send Larry the money, How do I know he will show up and not go south on me? That is always a concern especially by some newbie’s fly by nights in the business. Larry is a business member of the BCA listed under FL Enterprises so he must conduct him self as an honest business person to remain in the organization which he has belonged to for decades. He has no complaints and has never had a no show. You can call the BCA at 719-264-8300 to verify this.
He has performed sick as a dog plenty of times but nobody in the crowd knew it. If he is not dead, he will show up. The BCA booked Larry and wonder dog to perform for them at their Baltimore 2006 show. He shows up on time sober, he does not do drugs nor does he smoke. Larry is very dependable.
Sending money to Larry is totally safe and you have many safeguards in place. If you send funds via pay pal, you can use any credit card or transfer money directly from your checking account into his at no cost to you. You are protected there by pay pal for fraud should he take your money and does not perform the service. Larry also has square trade which insures all transactions up to $1,000. You can go into EBay and look Larry up under fastlarry2005. You will see he has a very rare 100% satisfaction rating by those he has done business with and is a blue star member. You can see page after page where people write his is an honest vender and did what he promised.
There are two fees you pay. The first one is the T&E fee which all entertainers charge. You pay Larry’s expenses in and out for him to perform for you. His competitors want to be flown in and put up in 4 star hotels. Larry prefers to drive in and stay at the Days Inn and tries to keep that T&E bill to a minimum which gives him a competitive advantage over the other guy trying to run his up.
Larry lives in Atlanta, Ga, so if you are within a 500 mile radius he will drive in. He drives in to a lot of places within 750 to 1,000 miles but beyond that it makes sense to fly him in which gets cheaper flying than driving and paying for motels. He calculates what his expenses are and you pay a flat rate. So if you live 250 miles away he would calculate the cost of gasoline at that time which might be $64, in and out plus a motel for the night of $60. If the venue sells food then you comp him his meals in house and wonder dog 3 hot dogs a day. The total T&E would be only $124 and FL finds his own hotel near by.
FL will not drive more than 600 miles a day so if you are 750 miles away the T&E would be the gas and 3 motels, one coming in, the night of the show, one going back home.
It usually takes 3 or 4 hours to set up the shots on a strange table and rehearse them as Larry’s shots are much more complex and difficult that brand X comes in with. He also uses a lot of props. He likes to arrive the day before the show to rehearse and will hang around after the show is over to play with the fans. He can always stay over an extra day if fans want to book private lessons with him. So if the show fee is $500, the T&E is $124, the deposit would be $208. It is a good faith measure on your part to show you are sincere and serious.
When Larry walks in the door and begins to set up and practice, the balance of the fee is due in cash unless you are a University or Corporate account that must pay by company check and then that is satisfactory. Any check must be approved ahead of time. The show fee is never paid after the show is over unless again it is a University. If Larry shows up and there is a bank holiday and the money is not there to pay him then he leaves with your deposit which is forfeited by you and the show is cancelled. So have the funds on hand in cash to make this payment before he arrives. No excuses are allowed as he has been stiffed in the past as every one has in this business when the owner vanishes after the show and then can not be found for days. He will not accept a check, cash only. If you must pay by check, then it must clear his bank before the show goes on again unless he makes this exception which is normally only for schools.
OK, I made my deposit but something came up, I lost my liquor license and have to postpone the show to a later date. No problem. You deposit will be refunded with out reason on your part or question as long as this occurs 7 days prior to show time. You get a 100% refund via FL’s company check. If you cancel two days to show date you forfeit and lose that deposit as you just burned a couple of dates we could have sold to some one else.
Larry travels the world and has circumnavigated the earth on world tours 3 times. And the last one was in 2004. He has traveled 3,000,000 miles and played in over 70 countries on 5 continents. He gets around and if you catch him in town and book a show at short notice you can save the T&E. Most of his show activity is along the East coast in the 13 original states but he tours the Midwest, the West and North West a couple of times a year.
